MAKE UP FALL TRENDS 2016
Thursday, 01 October 2015
As much as we love seeing bold experimental makeup on the runway in the moment, we really appreciate when a beauty look is something that's easy to recreate at home—and in that regard, the latest New York Fashion Week did not disappoint. From berry lips to flushed cheeks, these are the top trends from Fall 2015 that we are going to start trying out ASAP.
Red lipstick doesn't sound all that revolutionary, but when it goes away for a few seasons in favor of clear balms and nude tints, then makes its comeback in big, as we saw at the runways and it's what we needed to get us excited about this make up staple all over again!
To tell you the truth though, we never stopped wearing our red lipstick cause it's classic and always makes you look fab and ready to go and don't afraid of it during the day, as long as we don't have a lot of makeup on our eyes. Our make up artist Theoni Stravkefalou advices us just to have intense eyelashes, blush, and we are done!
If you're looking to really rock a trend this fall, deep, dark berry lips are sure to make a statement. Dare to wear during the day, or play up your berry pout for a great night-out look. Whichever you choose, this look takes a little more time (and maybe practice!) to apply than the sheer look, but the payoff is worth the effort!
Application can be tricky, but our make up artist gave us a very nice tip: if you're new to lipstick (or find it a bit difficult), buff your lips before so it's more easier to apply the lipliner and then put your lipstick on!
Also, its blue tones are able to brighten skin and make your teeth look whiter. What more reason do you need to wear autumn’s berry lip right now?
Just shine on! You can find inspiration in fashion shows for Fall-Winter 15 by many famous designers and when we talk about metallics it's not necessary to wear dark tones, nude shades are so into these season and you can easily wear it during the day!
Highlight your eyes with a metallic bronze eyeshadow, put on some blush and you gonna look as fresh as needed for your streetstyle outlooks.
The eyes always seem to have the perfect pop when you smudge in some grey in lighter or darker hues, or even some brown to give it that perfect manifestation of a shadow. We saw this at many fashion shows, paired with gorgeous lashes applied with mascara and well good shaped eyebrows!
Remember that your eyebrows have to be perfect at all times, it reshapes the total look of your face.
but what if we could tone down smoky eyes so that they're daytime appropriate; wouldn't be amazing? having this sexy look during our everday meetings?
Well, it just comes down to color technique preffering a brown tone leaving the darker ones for our night outs. To have the perfect balance and without looking too much wear a nude lipstick or a clear gloss and your make up will be perfectly suitable at daylight..
We want to thank our amazing make up artist Theoni Stravoukefalou for our make up and her usefull tips!
Happy Octomber everyone..
