DIET WEEK #8

Did you know that the feast of Clean Monday is the most fattening feasts of the year, at least for us greeks?  Well, unfortunately that's the ugly truth as Despoina informed me at the appointment we had yesterday. It combines all the bad combinations together and that makes it even worse, at least I didn't eat the fried ones, I resisted pretty well I could say but I didn't do so good this week either!

I don't have a program or let me rephrase I have a very bad program, it is so full with obligations and I don't have time to prepare the appropriate meals for me! Today, though I took with me a chicken burger with green salad to avoid eating outside and I am so proud for myself!

Despoina told me that I was very lucky as I went at the gym 3 times the previous week, too bad that I don't have this luxury this week as well, maybe during the weekend I will hopefully have more free time to workout. 

Another thing that she gave me her advice about, is that when I go out at night and yes, I love chillin with a glass of white wine, not to eat anything with bread or cracker or moreover sweet and combine all these terrible combinations together.. Just relax and enjoy my very one glass of alcohol!! 

So, my diet program for this week is the following:

BREAKFAST:

v  2 whole wheat toast with 1 spoon of honey and 1 cup of fresh orange juice. or

v Almond milk  1.5% (1cup/200ml)  with all bran (2κ.σούπας )

v  Rice crackers (2) with turkey (1slice) non fat cheece (1slice)

BETWEEN MEALS

v 1 fruit of my choice

v 20 cranberies

LUNCH

1η day: Pasta (1 1/2 cup ) with mushrooms, tomatoe sauce and green salad. 

2η day: Omelete (2eggs) red pepper (1small) and whole wheat bread (30gr) with brocolli.

3η day: Chicken breast with green salad. 

4η day: Beef burger with green salad and 4 tomato cherries. 

5η day: Fillet of sole with musturd, lemon and green salad. 

6η day: Peas with non fat cheese and green salad. 

7η day: Pork fillet with grilled vegetables and balsamic vinegar.

* 1 tablespoon of oil to all the green salads. 

BETWEEN MEALS

v  1 fruit of my choice.

DINNER

v  5 tomatoe cherries, non fat cheese and 2 rice crackers. 

v  Green salad with tuna and 2 whole wheat toast.

v  2 chicken barbeque with green vegetables.

v  Yogurt 2% with honey and cinnamon.

While Despoina is writing down our next appointment on Tuesday, my measurements are the following:

As you can see I lost 400gr and 1% of fat (that's good), and 1cm from my hips!!!

Despite I am loosing weight slow, I went 2 sizes down on my clothes and that feels way too awesome!!

The skirt I wore last night at the avant premiere of Zoolander2, was rather tight on me 2 months ago and now was like it wasn't even mine!!!

Come on, isn't this feeling one of the best feelings ever??? Doesn't cheer your mood up?

Good luck on your programs too girls and don't give up! We all deserve to feel nice and good about ourselves!!!
